<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 14 0;"><SPAN>This dataset was originally digitized from aerial photography by MSAG Data Consultants, Inc. in the late 1990's for Eagle Locator Mapping Dispatch software in the E-911 center and MSAG Books for Fire Rescue and Emergency Management and Sheriff Departments Personnel. Since that time, the Spotsylvania County GIS Office has updated driveways from aerial photographs, plats and site plans. Between 1998 and 2010, this data was maintained as two lines or polylines representing the edges of the driveway from edge of the road to the building. The development of road networks and geocoding required driveway to connect to the road centerline instead of the edge of pavement and to facilitate this change, a new feature class (driveway_cl) was created in 2009. From 2009 to 2013 , two datasets were maintained as the driveways were migrated from edge of pavement to the centerline. During the upgrade from ArcMap verison 9.3.1 to ArcGIS version 10.1, both datasets were combined into the present feature class as polyline feature class from edge of pavement to the structure. In 2016, this dataset was updated to ArcGIS version 10.3.1, to ArcGIS version 10.6 in 2018 and to ArcGIS version 10.7.1 in 2019. This dataset is updated on a weekly basis.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
